What does the Altar Society do?

The altar society is very prominent in the day to day workings of the parish. The altar society is responsible for providing wine, vestments, altar cloths, altar bread, candles and altar decorations for masses. They also provide receptions and gifts for First Communion, Confirmation and High school graduates.

Welcome to new parishoners

Visits to the Nursing Homes

Holiday fruit baskets for shut-ins

Cards for shut-ins

Cards to the hospitalized

Funeral dinners for bereaved families

Support mission trips for local students

Prayer chain for current concerns

Provides supplies for the parish kitchen

Host annual womens retreat

Host the annual bazaar as the major fundraiser
